GOconnectIT, supplier of innovative and specialist software solutions for the infrastructure industry, is taking the next step in building the leading player in software for the cables and pipes industry. After the acquisition of Geodan van den Berg, Swiss Knife is now added to the group. This enables GOconnectIT to strengthen its position in the glass fiber market. In addition, intensive efforts will be made to further internationalize the joint product portfolio.
Swiss Knife supplies cloud solutions and apps for the field and office staff to a large customer base, particularly in the glass fiber sector and the contractors industry. More than 50% of all optical fiber connections rolled out in the Netherlands are planned with software from Swiss Knife. PLANRRR is a cloud solution for integrating field and office activities and defining business processes in a workflow. The APPEEE platform enables field staff to save a lot of time through digital work orders, inspections, visit reports, time registration, quality reports, surveys and more. The software solutions of Swiss Knife are used by NKM, BAM, Van Gelder and VolkerWessels Telecom and many others.
The combination of GOconnectIT, Geodan van den Berg and Swiss Knife creates an organization with more than 75 employees. The joint goal of this group is to facilitate contractors and network operators, telco's and government agencies with smart (mobile) solutions and a broad product portfolio. Connections between the Swiss Knife and GOconnectIT software already exists, and these platforms will be further integrated.

GOconnectIT strengthens its position in the fast growing glass fiber market with the acquisition of Swiss Knife from Almelo, the Netherlands. This is the second acquisition for GOconnectIT in a short period of time.
